Problem Note 66889: The "Check for Updates" process does not notify you about updates in the 8.3 version of SAS® Enterprise Guide® and SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office

The Check for Updates process does not notify you about available updates in the 8.3 version for SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, and SAS® Visual Analytics Add-In for Office.
Specifically, this issue occurs in the 8.3 version when no updates have been applied.
You should ensure to apply the latest update to the 8.3 version. After the 8.3 version receives the latest update, the Check for Updates functionality will then work as expected.
